EM Normandie graduate Eric Rucklin rewarded for Imara Tea.
For the past 10 years, Les Épicures have been recognizing and rewarding professionals and producers in the world of fine foods, through the Épicures alimentaires (local, artisanal, innovative, healthy, natural, ethical products inspired by recipes from elsewhere…).
Despite its young age, Imara Tea is now recognized for its iced tea creation “Naïrobi à l’aube”, which was awarded the “Épicure d’argent 2023”. A round, floral, herbal violet tea with agave and lemon syrup, the beverage is certified organic and low in calories (50kcal/25cl), just like the rest of the range. The uniqueness of this drink lies in the sourcing of this violet tea, which comes exclusively from Kenya.
“This prize is a source of pride, rewarding the work accomplished by the entire team on 2 continents over the past 2 years. This Épicure d’argent 2023 is also a fine recognition of made-in-Africa know-how in the world of tea” says Eric Rucklin, co-founder of Imara Tea.
