PROFESSIONALISATION: kick-off for employment
The period dedicated to professionalisation is being stepped up this month at EM Normandie Business School. Throughout the semester, the Internship and Work-Study Department will be offering students group and individual coaching sessions in the form of webinars and on the School’s campuses, as well as opportunities for co-option between work-study students and students looking for a contract.
In addition, a number of recruitment events are planned to put our students in touch with the School’s partner companies, such as :
- The “Matchez vers l’avenir” event: in the same spirit as Pitch and Meet Partners, this recruitment event brings together local players on the Le Havre campus. It’s an ideal opportunity to showcase innovative SMEs and ETIs and highlight career prospects for students.
- Pitch and Meet Partners recruitment forums: companies present themselves in 2 minutes to pique the curiosity of students and encourage them to apply. Then, in a dedicated area, students can talk directly to recruiters about the internship, work-study or job opportunities on offer.
- Virtual events via Seekube: JobMeetup (internships, fixed-term contracts, permanent contracts, V.I.E…) and Work-Study Jobdating (1 or 2-year work-study programmes) enable students from all campuses or expatriates to meet companies remotely. During these forums, candidates apply by positioning themselves directly in the recruiters’ diaries. If the recruiter approves the request for a meeting after studying the student’s application, the meetings take place during online interviews.
- Career workshops: these are THE meetings between students and graduates. During themed workshops, EM Normandie Business School Alumni share their experiences and talk about their career paths to help you discover different business sectors and professions. And much more besides!
Above you will find the dates of the various events linked to professionalisation which will take place on our different campuses and remotely. This list is not exhaustive, and other events will be added as they become available. Students will be notified of these events via their JobTeaser-EM Normandie Business School space, on their Ward student intranet, and through digital and on-campus communications.
These events are not compulsory, but they are highly recommended. We are counting on you to talk to your children and encourage them to take part.
